1.4.1 Use of Color
색의 사용
Summary
Color must not be the only way information or distinction is conveyed. Users with color vision deficiency — and anyone printing in grayscale — lose that signal entirely. Pair color with a second cue: text, an icon, an underline, or a pattern.
Common failures
- Marking form errors with a red border only, without an accompanying error message.
- Distinguishing in-text links by color alone, with no underline.
