1.4.11 Non-text Contrast

비텍스트 명도 대비

Summary

Interface component boundaries and meaningful graphics need at least 3:1 contrast with adjacent colors. This is easy to miss when only text is checked — input borders, checkboxes, and focus indicators are frequent offenders. Informative icons count too.

Common failures

  • Pale gray input borders that do not separate the field from its background.
  • A thin, low-contrast focus ring that fails the 3:1 threshold.
