Summary

Content must survive user-applied increases to line, paragraph, letter, and word spacing. The criterion assumes readers with dyslexia widening spacing to read more comfortably. Avoiding fixed heights on text containers satisfies it in most cases.

Common failures

  • Fixed px heights on buttons or cards that clip text once line spacing increases.
