2.2.2 Pause, Stop, Hide

일시정지·정지·숨김

Summary

Content that moves, blinks, or scrolls automatically for more than five seconds must be pausable. Perpetual motion makes it hard for users with attention-related disabilities to read anything else on the page. Auto-advancing carousels and live tickers are the usual cases.

Common failures

  • A hero carousel that advances on its own with no pause control.
